The provided poles did not fitMichaelThe quality control on this unit is horrendous. I'm entirely unable to use it as a result because the pegs cannot fit into the hole created by the interlocking poles. The quality of IKEA products has gone completely downhill and I would have to waste more hours of my life to get a replacement.1

Great lamp for ambient lightingDeborahGot this lamp for my office just to make it feel like someone was home. It was easy to assemble and it sheds great light on my desk and a corner that it is in. Would definitely recommend.4

Great-looking lampJeremyThis is a great lamp to provide some soft, indirect light. I hate using most overhead lights for my bedroom, living room, etc., places where I'm going to be spending a decent amount of time doing things like reading or watching a movie or whatever. This lamp is perfect to stick in a corner and get enough light to see by but not enough to be annoying. Great for atmosphere. As others have mentioned, it's a bit fiddly to put together. But I had no issues with it being flimsy and falling apart. If you need to move it around the house, just grab the little crossbars on top of it and pick it directly up.4

Lightbulbs not included!AlannWe drove over 1.5 hours each way to go to IKEA and we bought a bunch of stuff. We are assembling the lamp right now and we are extremely disappointed that the bulbs are not included as advertised. It does not make financial sense for us to drive over 3 hours again just to exchange the lamp for one with bulbs...I am currently trying to figure out what kind of bulbs I now need to go buy locally and cannot find this information either. I am really upset that we don't yet have the working lamp. Happy with other details of the lamp, though.4

Tall lampGingerJt is very nice looking and it lights up my living room great. It feels a little flimsy if you are going to move it around a lot. We put it in the corner and it looks great. I will buy another one for my spare room.5

Great styled lampJeffI enjoy this lamp. it is replacing one that i bought 15 years ago that actually had a long rice paper shade. This lamp has great light output, the shade has a nice texture and color. Very nice light in my family room.5
