ALPHA-C TX ISSUES
Stephan Barott
#549 I installed MSC 2020-32 bit to my MSC folder on a 64-bit machine where the programs are working correctly as separate 64-bit. I then installed MS-DMT ALPHA-C and the CP module in the 32-bit folders and replaced the .exe and .ini files in those two folders. The ALPHA program receives very well. I have a Barrett 2050 / TC-4 HWM on a separate antenna and computer to compare it with. The issue I have is, this ALPHA version will not transmit very well unless I turn the sound card to 100%. That is for the windows 10 Home and signalink. There seems to be an issue with the CP program but I can't seem to find the problem. I do not see any green bars in the ALPHA status for SNR, BER, FER but the % change at times. |

What application (Alpha version means nothing in a suite of apps) are you referring to that "does not transmit" very well? turn the sound card to 100%. That is for the windows 10 Home and signalink. Are you connected to DMT via TCP or VSP? |

#560 I am using TCP-IP. What I mean by "not transmitting very well" is, it does not send enough signal to the amp unless I turn the sound care to 100%. I do not have this issue with the standard version of MS-DMT or "The Modem." They work just fine. #567 GM Stephen, There has been no changes to the MS-DMT modem that would affect drive output between the previous, "standard as you referred to it", build where the ability to disable the constellation display came about and the current ALPHA. The one thing that could affect the output level is if you didn't delete the DMT.DAT file and the ALPHA is using it without complaint. /s/ Steve toggle quoted messageShow quoted text At 11:54 AM 4/4/2020, you wrote: I am using TCP-IP. #574 O.K., thanks .I will check it. I'm pretty sure I deleted it though. Thank you for your hard work. Stephan STEPHAN L.
